Flux Cored Wires are self-shielded wires that find usage in providing single as well as multi-pass welding. The welding support can be provided on mild as well as medium and high tensile steels in all positions including in vertical up and overhead choices. Further, the deposit also works suitably as buffer under higher hardness deposits, thus making these ideally suited for on-site welding. These can be run on constant current flux cored arc welding wire feeders as well as in MIG machines.

Coming with alloy base of Fe, C, Mn, some of its special features include:

Carbon Steel Electrodes are designed for extracting maximum weld quality and provide superior usage support for different welding types including axial spray, spray transfer, globular welding. Low Alloy Steel Electrode provides superior deposit strength in welded as well as stress relieved conditions and as these contain high level of manganese & silicon, these are able to offer not only superior wetting but also provide safeguard from possibilities of scaling. Some of the main areas where these find usage in include for building construction, bridges, platforms and other areas.

Stainless Steel Electrodes features thermal expansion coefficient greater than carbon steel and for this the electrodes are used to provide weld at lowest current that also helps in minimizing warping specially on sheet metal. Providing complete fusion between wire and base plate, the lower thermal conductivity ensures the welding process does not require much current for achieving complete fusion as heat is not pulled away from weld zone rapidly. Further, the weld provided is also corrosion resistant and does not rust like carbon steel.

Hardfacing Electrodes assist in providing deposits with superior wear resistance as well as hardness that is much enhanced in comparison of chromium carbide. The absence of chromium in welding wire also helps in bringing reduction in emission of hexavalent chromium during welding process, thus providing wear-resistant overlay especially for applications where hexavalent chromium present in welding fumes cannot be reduced through involved working process.

Designed for open arc welding, these also do not need gas shielding, thus providing vital safety during usage in field areas. Its usage also support in extending service life of industrial components.



Metal Cored Wire come in same strength and chemical compositions as solid MIG wires. Here, the outer metallic sheath helps in conducting electrical current for welding and the fabricated, composite nature of cored wires enhances the current carrying density as well as in improving of deposition rates.

Further, with internal components of metal cored wires comprising silicon, alloys, manganese, iron power as well as arc stabilizers like sodium & potassium, these wires assist in providing superior benefits of formulating alloy compositions for specific applications in small batches.
